14 Day Money Back Guarantee.
We provide a 14 day money back guarantee from the date clients place their deposit with us. Deposits are £500 for oil paintings and £200 for pencil drawings. Clients will receive a full refund on their deposit if they cancel within 14 days. Refunds will be made to the card clients ordered with.
Oil Paintings – Second Payment 8 Weeks Prior To Starting.
The second payment which is due approximately 8 weeks prior to starting the portrait will amount to half of the final total of the commission fee, minus the deposit already paid. This is to cover items commissioned / ordered on your behalf or purchased in readiness for your portrait. The second payment is non refundable.
Final Payment Before Work Commences
Final payment must be made before work commences for the oil paintings and the pencil drawings. We will contact you one week prior to starting with an invoice for the final payment. At this point everything will be in place for your commission and we will be ready to start. Clients are committed to their portrait at this stage and the final total is non refundable.
Portrait Completion
When the portrait is complete we will email the client a watermarked final photo of the artwork for approval. If the client would like changes, they can let us know at this stage. We work with clients until they are 100% happy with the portraits. If however we cannot resolve the issue with the artwork, clients can opt to have their final payment refunded, minus card transaction fees. We have a 100% track record of satisfaction and this has never happened before.
Damage in Transit
We pack our portraits to a very high standard, however in the unlikely event your portrait is damaged, please photograph the packaging and artwork and client of the best courier service to use. Once received we will create another portrait at no additional cost. The lead time will depend on our commissions list at that time.
Gift Vouchers / Deposit Paid with Commission Not Arranged
Clients often place a deposit to save a space in our commissions list without making any portrait arrangements, often also choosing to have a gift voucher card sent to the recipient. Usually clients purchase a £500 voucher towards an oil painting and £200 towards a pencil drawing in line with our deposits. These voucher deposits are non refundable.
Once the portrait has been arranged, either the purchaser or the recipient will be invoiced for the remainder of the portrait in line with our terms above. When the deposit is paid we will freeze our price list from the date of the paid deposit for 12 months. If redeeming after the 12 months, clients will be purchasing on our current price list. After the 12 months, their space in the commissions list is removed until such time as they return to us to arrange their portrait and we will try our best to create the artwork as soon as possible.
Currency Exchange
Prices are in Uk Sterling and currency exchanges can be found on our prices page. If you are outside the UK your bank will exchange the total on their exchange rate. Please note that payments and refunds are in UK Sterling and we cannot be held responsible for any loss due to exchange rate fluctuations.
Artwork Displayed on our website
We retain copyright on all artwork we produce and we reserve the right to use our paintings and drawings on our pet portraits website and for our own promotional material. We will not reproduce clients artwork for sale and we do not sell merchandise or allow anyone else use our work for profit. Customer emails in whole or in part may also be used as a testimonial on our website. If clients are uncomfortable having their artwork or emails displayed on our website, please let us know upon ordering.
