Welcome to my latest blog post on the French Bulldog Pencil Drawing of Leon. I am so thrilled to share this portrait on the blog as it has to have been one of my favourite pencil drawings to complete this year. It is of a gorgeous French Bulldog, it is obviously one of my pencil drawings and the dog is called Leon. The portrait was a commission for a returning client, Adriana, in Brazil.
This portrait will sit alongside a previous drawing of dog Melody, who I created a portrait of a few years ago. Melody had sadly passed away but thankfully lovely Leon is still with us and being completely adorable. Adriana used WhatsApp to get in contact (I love how instant it is to communicate with my clients!) to commission the pencil portrait of Leon.
Adriana commissioned a 14” x 11” pencil portrait of Melody. She wanted the same for Leon, ensuring both portraits would complement each other perfectly. Adriana captured a perfect photo of Leon for the drawing, so we chose that one! Here are a few photos of the completed portrait with my pencils beside it.

Safe Packaging & International Delivery to Brazil
After Adriana approved Leon’s drawing, we carefully packed it for safe international delivery to São Paulo, Brazil. Shipping artwork overseas comes with challenges, such as customs requirements and address formatting, but we handled everything smoothly. Adriana received tracking updates at every step, and Leon’s portrait made its way safely to his forever home.
