Pencil Drawing of Crumble the Spaniel

Welcome to my latest pencil drawing of Crumble the Spaniel. I was thrilled to work with returning client Sarah again on this beautiful pencil portrait of Crumble, a much-loved family member. We first chatted on the phone and shortly after, Sarah sent over her favourite photo of Crumble. Also sending a few others to help me capture her curly chest fur so that I could remove the collar and lead with ease.

I created the drawing at 14 x 11 inches using my usual graphite pencil on Italian paper. I really enjoyed drawing Crumble and hope the finished portrait captures Crumble’s gentle eyes, soft ears and sweet nature perfectly. It’s always a pleasure to draw spaniels, their flowing fur and expressive features translate so well in pencil.

Happy Clients

When Sarah received the portrait, she sent us the loveliest message:
“It’s amazing – you have caught her perfectly – thank you so much. I shall be getting you to draw a few more of my dogs over the coming year! So thrilled.”

I feel so grateful to be able to work with clients time and time again. Not only to be able to draw their dogs, but they trust me to do so.
