Robyn from London reached out to commission a 16 x 12-inch oil portrait of her family’s Jack Russell, Ella, and we were delighted to create it. Sometimes it is really difficult to commission a pet portrait and have it all arranged and completed for the special date. especially where Christmas is concerned as we are always so busy. So a pet portrait gift voucher offers the best of both worlds. It’s thoughtful, personal, and also allows the recipient to be in on the process of the portrait with us too!
Robyn ordered the voucher and gave us the text to use for the front of the card and also the photo that they wanted us to use as the basis of the portrait. We arranged everything and added them to Nicholas’s commission list straight away.
How Our Gift Vouchers Work
- Choose a portrait size and medium – either pencil or oils.
- Send us a photo of the pet, and we will design a bespoke gift voucher card for you to review before printing and sending it.
- You can then make the payment for the portrait.
- We order and send the voucher card, allowing you to write inside.It will have the portrait details printed in the card too.
- The recipient can work with us to choose their favourite photo and discuss details.
- Once finalized, we start painting or drawing the portrait!

Creating Ella’s Portrait
I created the voucher above along with the mock-up of Ella and Robyn was thrilled and gave us the go ahead to order the card.

Jack Russells are such expressive dogs and Nicholas was really looking forward to getting started on Ella’s portrait. Not only her personality and character, but her expressive eyes! Once the portrait was completed and delivered, we received a lovely message from Robyn:
