Here is my pencil portrait of Non and Stanley, two gorgeous collie dogs. Esyllt got in contact in 2014 to find out if I could draw her two collies as a surprise for her husband on his birthday. She emailed some wonderful photos to work with and also told me all about them and their characters.
Esyllt was thrilled and the portrait was a wonderful surprise for her husband Iwan, which you can read below in the testimonial. I hope you like them too!
Just wanted to let you know that Iwan loved the portrait!!! He was so shocked. He couldn’t believe that I was able to keep it all a secret!! I’m definitely in his good books at the moment!! Everyone that has seen it, can’t believe how well you’ve captured them!!
Thank you so much

Pencil Portrait of Non and Stanley – Framed
Esyllt very kindly took a photo of the portrait framed which I have added below. I really love the light wood that they have chosen, it works perfectly with the drawing!
If you would like to commission a pencil drawing of your dogs as a birthday surprise, please get in touch. It’s not easy keeping a surprise like this, however we will do our very best to help you. We have helped many clients in the past . It’s always amazing to hear the recipients surprise and often shock when they receive the portraits. Some clients even set up new email addresses, just so that they have a private space to chat and about portraits and send photos.
Finally, if we can be of any help in the process, please do let us know. Also one question we are asked quite often. Is the packaging discreet? Yes absolutely! The packaging only has our address on, which it needs to for the courier. So even if they do receive a package if you are not home, they will have no cause to know its a portrait!
