Welcome to our Weimaraner oil portrait of Keo, traditionally hand painted by Nicholas. The oil painting of Keo was completed just prior to Christmas in 2018 for client Lyndsey, here in the UK. Lyndsey emailed us some beautiful photos of Leo, but this one really stood out to us as being absolutely perfect for an oil portrait. Not only is the photo stunning, Keo the Weimaraner is too!
Nicholas was so excited to start painting the oil portrait for Lindsey and as soon as his brush hit the canvas, he thoroughly enjoyed every moment. Keo’s stunning shiny eyes and gorgeous wet nose really come forward in the painting as you can see in the photo of the oil portrait below.
Weimaraner Oil Portrait Testimonial
Lyndsey commissioned the oil portrait at our 14 x 11 inches and asked for it to be framed too. The frame is simply stunning and you can scroll down this page to see the portrait of Keo framed. Here is a wonderful testimonial from Lyndsey when she received the portrait and was about to wrap it for her husband at Christmas.
Hi Melanie,
Well……. I’m well and truly lost for words?!!! I’ve never seen anything so beautiful in all my life and I don’t just mean the most handsome dog in the world, I mean the work that Nicholas has put into it is just out of this world!
Thank you both so so so much. I’m gobsmacked and I love it. Jon isn’t here to see it yet and I may not show him and just wrap it for Christmas, he will be speechless, as am I.
Thank you both for creating a piece of art that we will keep for the rest of our lives, it’s jut wonderful and as simple as that and I love the frame and the plaque too.
Thank you both once again, a real masterpiece!!!!
Lindsey xx
Weimaraner Oil Portrait Framed
Below are some photos of the Weimaraner oil portrait, just prior to packing. Nicholas is passionate about painting Weimaraner oil portraits and finds their stunning eyes, silky smooth coat, and dynamic shape fascinating. He has painted a number of portraits of Weimaraners over the years and I think it’s true to say, from looking at the painting of Leo, he really has the ability to capture their unique personality.
If you have enjoyed viewing the oil portrait of Keo, you might like to take a look at a previous oil painting that Nicholas painted of Ramses the Weimaraner. He is on our blog here – Weimaraner Pet Portrait.
If you’re interested in commissioning a portrait from Nicholas, the first step is to send us an email with a few clear and in-focus photos of your pet. This will help us capture your pet’s unique characteristics and personality in the portrait. Once we receive your photos, we will get back to you with a mockup or design for the portrait.
If you decide to move forward with the commission, after placing a deposit, we begin working on the portrait. We keep you updated throughout the process and send you photos of the painting as it progresses.
Once the painting is complete, we send you a photo of the finished portrait for your approval. If you’re happy with the portrait, its all packed and sent it to you. It’s that simple!
We are very much looking forward to hearing from you, especially if you have a Weimaraner Oil Portrait that you would like us to paint. You are more than welcome to email or WhatsApp us at any time!
